You may book dinner reservations online through RESY above, or call our reservationist 2:00-5:00 at 978-282-0700. These are the fastest ways to book a table. Be sure that your pop-up blockers are turned off for online booking!
If you need to cancel, we kindly ask that you please let us know 48 hours before your reservation. We look forward to seeing you another time!
DON'T SEE THE TIME YOU'RE LOOKING FOR?
If you do not see the reservation you're looking for, you can add yourself to the "Notify List" through RESY. Choose a preferred timeframe and RESY will notify you via email when a table becomes available.
If there is a cancellation, all parties on the list for that specific time will be notified via email that a spot has opened, providing a link to our Reservation page. This slot will be filled at a first come, first serve basis. Please note that the Notify List does not guarantee a reservation, but we hope it simplifies the process for high-demand days and times.
All reservations will be confirmed via text at 4PM the day prior to your visit. We encourage you to utilize this feature to confirm, send messages, requests or cancel your existing reservation. Any guests who do not confirm in their response will receive a confirmation call the day of the reservation.
If you are running late, we encourage you to text us through RESY so that we can attempt to hold your table as long as possible. If we don't hear from you, we reserve the right to release your reservation after 15 minutes.
LARGE PARTY REQUESTS
Bookings for parties larger than 6 should be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. For parties 6 or less, please book through RESY or over the phone from 2:00 - 5:00.
Private event requests should be made via email to email@example.com. Our sister restaurant offers a fully equipped private event space conveniently located in downtown Gloucester. We recommend contacting Short & Main for any groups larger than 12 guests during June, July, and August.
